Version 1.6 is out
Added the ability to calculate a ballistic coefficient based on velocity measurements.
Also added the interface for a couple of other features but they don't work.
ALSO, finally an installer. The .cab will install it to the Program Files menu and add a shortcut to the Start Menu
As always, available at http://ballcalc.sourceforge.net

Version 1.7....
The latest and greatest is....... Weather data. It will now download the local weather data off the internet. I wouldn't recommend using it to often if you don't have unlimited internet on your device. It does only download about 50kb of data each time you do it however.
As always, http://ballcalc.sourceforge.net

Oh yeah.... There's a box on the weather data that says shooting direction. That's the cardinal direction you're shooting at. Because when it downloads the data off the internet, the wind direction is relative to North and you might not be. So put the direction you are shooting in there and the program will automatically calculate the winds relative bearing.

This is a very interesting program. Thanks for taking the time to write it. I will use it when I head out to the range next time.
The next time you update it, make sure to fix the "Tempurature" typo.

I will. Thanks for pointing that out.

HMS thanks for all your work on this, I will be patiently waiting for the BB version to be released. Great way to really support the forum.

unfortunately the scroll bars do not work on my blackjack 2
-
Blackjack 2, is that a touch screen phone or non. Doesn't work yet for non-touch screen versions.
-
Attention all you NON touch screen folks. I'm working on that version right now. It'll take a little bit but at least I have the code already, just need to make the user interface. So.... sit tight, it'll be ready soon enough.

Also, the Blackberry and Android versions are in the works right now too.
