    got my surefire can yesterday, MAN its nice, love the on/off, will shoot it Sunday!

    Yeah, they are great. I got my 6.8 can from Grant last year.

    Be sure to clean the carbon off your QD muzzle device, or your can will become very difficult to remove. I just put some Slip 2000 Carbon Killer in a small jar and hang my rifle so the muzzle device sits in there for 15 minutes. Wipe off and you're done.

    first day out with my new can, my best friend laid the can on my range bag, now its got nylon burned all over it

    AWESOME! Gotta say that can looks great. How did it perform? did you have any cycling issues? POI shift? And, of course, how was the sound reduction?...Sound reduction as compared to other cans?

    Surefire Differences?

    Ok on the subject of surefire Cans what is the difference between the Surefire FA556-212 and FA556K? I hera the "K" Can mentioned here almost exclusively but when comparing the specs on surefire's site I dont see the difference. Could someone shed any light on this?

    The K can can be used on anything from a 10.5 to a 20" weapon. The 212 can is generally for 14.5" weapons and above.
