Dave's got a good point... It does cost more to pay someone else to put together, but not a whole heckuva lot more... and you can find the LMT lowers in stock (I think I saw them in stock recently)...

ETA: Nope, I lied... they weren't in stock where I thought they were.

*If you are in no rush, I bought 3 CD stripped lowers from G&R that are very nice.
I have built 2.75 of them
so Dave, where are these complete lowers available???

Usually G&R Tactical has them when most people don't. You could call Global Tactical also and ask them.

My only point is that LPK's are more rare right now than quality complete lowers. I'm not saying don't buy the stripped lower if you have the extra cash, get on a couple back-order list's at the very least for a LMT lower just in case.

That was my initial thought when I saw this title!!! The above advice is all good, all I can really add and second at that is just grab an LMT lower (assembled) when possible unless ya have a few extra LPK's lyin around... Scarce is an
    understatement right now........ Good luck..J

i've got a rra, bushmaster, spikes, and s&w. no problems with any. i built the spikes with a dpms lpk and the rra with a m&a parts lpk. i paid $100 for the spikes on a group buy at ar15.com last year, and $160 for the rra a couple of months ago at a show. the bushy and s&w came as complete guns.

+1 Get whatever you can your grubby hands now and sell off what you don't want to keep later.

I'm going to try for the S&W lower (I love a good logo). Everything else to complete the rifle (except for the LPK and buffer tube/spring) I can get whenever I need to from my place of work (can you smell it? employee discount! or is that hoppe's #9?). They've got LPKs on order and one already has my name on it.

Also, can someone tell me where I can order one of those RRA internal screw ambi selectors from?

I'd try direct from RRA's website. I bought one just a week or two ago from them, along with an ambi mag catch for the lower I've been scrounging parts for. [It] seems all of the little pins and springs etc. are stocked fine. I couldn't tell you about a whole LPK or trigger assemblies, as I opted to B.O. a Geissele trigger from Midway... The restock date for which seems to have slid from tomorrow to mid March. (sigh)

I really like the Charles Daly Defense (CDD) lowers myself, I have 3 stripped CDD lowers currently.

There is a local shop near me that will ship out DPMS lowers and LPK's if any of you need them. He has them in stock, as well as DPMS complete BCG's and uppers. He is all DPMS. I have 2 of the BCG's and they do have "proper staking" with the 45 degree pointed punch hit from the sides pushing into the head of the bolts from each opposite side. Like I mentioned, he is all DPMS... so he will not have anything else.

I was standing in his place 2 or 3 weeks ago and he had cases of DPMS parts he was pulling my parts out of, so I suspect he should still be good to go.

PM me and I'll give you his contact info, he doesn't me to blast him on a website and get his intire stash wiped out.....so I'll give it to members here that desire it.
I save money using AMSOIL full synthetic lubricants. Do you?
