We are running our Carbine 2 class at the PBSO Rifle range on June 18-19, 2009. The facility is outstanding with the ability to use the 300 yard range. Space is limied. Reserve your spot as soon as possible.

DATE: June 18-19, 2009 2P-10P at the Palm Beach SO Range, W.P.B., FL

This course is an intermediate level class aimed at law enforcement officers, defense contractors, and other lawfully armed personnel who are interested in advanced movement skills, low light shooting techniques, and in depth combat shooting techniques. The course PREREQUISTITE is a basic carbine class certificate provided by a government agency or authorized training facility.

This Program of instruction is moderately demanding. Participants should be able to move in and out of the positions of kneeling, sitting, and prone with out assistance from others and be able to run short distances.

Instructor backgrounds:
Michael DiMaggio: Mike is a 20 year law enforcement officer. He currently holds the rank of Lieutenant at a large City Police Department in Broward County, FL. Mike has 18 years of SWAT experience and is the SWAT Commander. He is a survivor of a deadly force encounter. He is an Armalite, Sig Sauer, Smith and Wesson, Sage, FN, and Ruger certified armorer. Mike also holds a B.A. in Criminal Justice and is State of Florida certified Firearms Instructor.

Jack DiCristofalo: Jack is a 15 year law enforcement officer at a large City Police Department in Broward County. He is currently assigned to the Homicide Unit with experience as a SWAT team member. Jack was awarded the Medal of Valor for courage displayed in the line of fire. He is a Colt, Glock, and HK certified armorer and a State of Florida certified Firearms Instructor.

Required equipment:
An AR pattern carbine or rifle
Tactical sling
Back Up Iron Sights, if using optics (Aimpoint, EO-Tech,etc.)
At least 3 magazines
Eye Protection and hat
Hearing Protection


Ammunition: 500 rounds carbine minimum, 200 rounds pistol
Two day class, fees are $295 per person which includes range fees.
$150 Deposit (Cash, Certified Check, Money Order, Credit Card) or Department Purchase Order is required 21 days before the class date. Classes fill up quickly so please contact immediately to reserve your spot.
