Hero Water?

Does anyone have any experience with this product? http://www.herowater.com I met one of their vendors at a gun show, but a lot of his claims weren't really backed up by the website. It seems like a good product, but is completely dependent on the syrup. Thoughts?

Never trust your life to anything that costs only "19.95"...

I watched their little video, it's possible they work to a degree. I may use them on hose water, but they would in no way replace my standard water filter, and I would use Iodine before trusting these with my life.
