Iron Ridge Arms is working on upper receivers now.

They make DPMS and Armalite compatible lower receivers now. The color options will be custom order from now on.

I think they will be stripped uppers to match their stripped lowers.

I contacted them about coming up and buy onsite. They said their stock is getting low, and they will go thru a distributor in the future, so prices will go up.

Wasn't planning on doing a 308 build, but damn that is a pretty lower. I'd probably get an upper from GA Precision eventually to go with it.

Specifically with these lowers, do you guys see any advantage to either pattern lower? I'm thinking DPMS due to the new 20LR PMAGS?

Mag availability and options make the DPMS compatible lowers sell about 2 times greater than the Armalite lowers.

That was my thinking. Usless you are already commited to the Armalite platform in the form of another rifle, I could not see going that way over the DPMS.

    Damn-it.

What's the best DPMS lower parts kit for this? Are their AR10 parts kits better than their 5.56. I really like the quality of the white oak parts kit I recently used. I'm guessing that AR10 level stuff is a lot more specialized.

Prices are going up, unfortunately. The coatings will be much more expensive. The black anodized will be a slight price increase.
