Is there a technological requirement that the dot on the fiber optic and tritium model HAS to have a 9 moa dot? Could it not work with a smaller dot or triangle?

I look forward to these getting out and about.

I understand the fiber optics, but why the cat ears on the housing?

This would be the first optic I'd shell out over $1500 for: TA31ECOS w/ this mounted above.

The 9MOA dot is less of a concern for me with a familiar TA31 under the hood, but I can see the desire for something closer to 6MOA as long as it doesn't hurt brightness.

Bullit - is there a Green version (TA31-Green/RMR-Green) in the works? It would be pricy, but that would be an extremely neat optic.

Not Bullit, but looks to me that if Trijicon doesn't offer one of these direct from the factory, you can order everything you'd need to assemble your dream optic from Trijicon...(see link below). I'd still like to see a pic of one of these RMRs mated with a TA31 though.

I asked this for several weeks in the various threads without a response and finally got a PM from Bullit saying this...

"We have not tried to make a chevron as of yet, I'll push for it but I can't say for sure if we will release one. It would be nice but most prefer a dot in the mini red dot world."

I'm sure a lot of people like the dot but I would guess just as many would want a triangle or chevron. I don't plan on buying one until I get to try one with the large dot. Hopefully someone local will pick one up...

If I get it it mounted low on Ruger Blackhawk and a 2-4MOA dot for the fiber optic version I would do it in a heartbeat
