Dakota: she is a pound Puppy and pretty protective of us all. She is husky and sheppard or coyote mix of some kind.

This is Teddy. He is the alpha of the pack and the most protective of us.
He is half Siberian Husky and Half chow. His parents were full blooded respectively.

This is stryker and his kitten. This kitten was a V-Day gift for the wife, Stryker here decided it was his cat. As you can see he is not very aggressive and a big softie. funny thing is, that visiters are more scared of him than my other two. As you can see he is a pure bred Siberian Husky.

Then here is the entire pack.

I had posted some adoption shots of Tela a few months ago. Here's her playing in all the snow we got before Christmas. She's about 5 months old in these shots and if anybody has any thoughts on what breed she might be I'm all ears; your guess is as good as anyone else I've heard. Not that it matters at all because she's a sweet dog; curiosity just has the best of me. About 30 lbs now, I'm thinking she'll get to around 45-50 lbs. She curls her tail like a Husky, Akita, some kind of shepherd, etc. and she definitely herds me outside. Think there has to be some Lab in there and when I look at the shape of her snout I can almost see some of my friends American Pit.

She looks like a husky lab mix or an austrailan shepherd lab mix

If you are curious enough to spend a little bit, there are dog lineage kits out there for around 50 dollars that will trace the DNA to see what breeds they are made of.

This is Hera. Pretty sure she's a mix of Golden Retriever and Irish Setter. Never cared enough to find out. She keeps my life...interesting.

She's about a year and three months old now, still very much in the exited teenager stage.

Definitely a possibility and I'm leaning toward the former these days.

I've read a little about them seen mixed opinions. Obviously it doesn't matter, I love her anyway. I just have to decide how much my curiosity is worth to me

For what it's worth, we know a couple who adopted a dog that was part GSD and something else. They spent the money on a DNA test and the results were - part GSD and something else. So money well spent, then.
