    ^^ Awesomeness Sir! ^^

My first rescue lived to be 23. My second and current rescue in about 3 1/2. Imho, there's nothing better than adopting a cat that will be euthanized.

    Rescues are great.

Our two older rescues died a few years ago at 20 and 22.

The big girl next to the AR is now 12 years old. She is a moose. My wife found her at her school begging for food.

The black tuxedo and his sister are 4 now. Rescued from a construction job site.

The other two most recent we got 18 months ago living a car at the end of our street. They had a sister who we gave to another family, but she never took to domestic and is being placed in a feral colony. The boy is completely domesticated and loves people. His sister (the one we kept) is slowly adjusting to humans. She won't let anyone pick her up, but is getting used to be petted without running away.

And the process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right.” ― George Orwell, 1984

My good friend does what you guys do in regards to rescuing them off the streets....I've just rescued mine from the local shelter.

I'd love to rescue another one atm, but I'm not sure how my current pal will react to sharing his domain with another cat.

I've read male cats tend to be much more "clingy", or receptive to human contact than female cats.

Thanks for sharing em with us

Half Chihuahua and half Jack Russell. Has a big attitude.

Can’t go anywhere on the ATV without her. Loves it.

Anybody catch the 60 Minutes segment last night with Lara Logan reporting on the training of SOF Belgian Malinois? Even had a clip of a handler doing a 10,000' free fall with his dog strapped to his chest. Pretty cool stuff.

    http://www.cbsnews.com/video/watch/?id=50145334n

A portion of the segment highlights a Green Beret who lost both lower legs after failing to identify the signal from his dog. His dog, Axe, was injured but survived. Now reunited, Ms. Logan notes during their interview that the dog's eyes almost never left his handler:

Now that's a look to melt your heart.
