I just received my CTR 3 weeks back from AIM Surplus. Last I checked they still had them in stock (its been a while since I checked). The CTR has solid lock up and is a nice stock, but I find the LMT SOPMOD on my primary carbine to be more comfortable. You have to decide for yourself if that comfort would be worth the extra $$$...

PKFirearms and ebay (use Live.com cash back discount and buy through macknlou or one of the other well established sellers) have them in stock.

I like the anti-rattle nature of the CTR and the QD point, so it's a worth while upgrade. If you just want a QD point, then check out the Noveske End Plate.

thanks,I will check with PK Firearms for the CTR and the MIAD grip.I guess I will just sell the x300 and take a loss to get the Magpul accessories I should have been paitent and got in the first place.

I have had the MOE on my rifle with a BCM buffer tube and there is no rattle. YMMV. The lock up is still tight and I do not care for the QD attachment point anyway. I have played with a friends CTR and if I had it to do over again I would still buy the MOE. Just my two cents though.

My rapidly-becoming-my-most-beloved-EBR new DDM4 came with a MOE. It's tight and rattle-free, nothing like a standard stock. The DD is a real beaut, by the way. Since I use the (thoughtfully supplied) swivel mount endplate as my rear sling point, the CTR's attachment point is unnecessary for me. Mighty damn fond of all the nice touches on this new DDM4 - handles great, too.

I've heard some folks with the commercial tubes say their MOEs have some play, but have no personal experience.

Did I mention how enamored I was with my new Daniel Defense? Shot the crap out of it for the 5th time this morning. Likin' it real well, yessiree...

I have a moe on my commercial tube and it fits VERY tight. Especially when compared to the stock that came with my m4.
