The MSAR STG556 trigger gets better the more you use it. There is an aftermarket trigger kit for it but it gets real bad reviews and voids the warranty.

If I had my preference, and came across one, the E4 would be where I'd spend my coin. The ability to accept USGI type mags would be the selling point for me and would be compatible with my existing M-16 mags.

The E4 is the same carbine but with a different stock to accept the M-16 mags. I have a Gen IV which uses AUG mags but they cost twice as much as USGI mags. As soon as I saw the E4 offering I ordered one and they are supposed to become available this April. MSAR is giving some thought to making a compatible M-16 type mag with a 42 round capacity.

You screwed up!! But fear not, I'd be happy to take that POS Colt off your hands for $800.

The only thing left of the Colt 6721 in this AR is the barrel...

I like this HBAR 1in9 barrel very accurate and balances well in this configuration.

Then you, sir, are a true prognosticator. Tell me then, when Larry mentions "pennies on the dollar", is it going to be 99 pennies to a dollar or 2 pennies to the dollar? Or will it be a relative scale as in 100:1; so a $3500 rifle becomes a $35 rifle?

Hard to believe, but supply and demand curves do work -- huh.

Sounds like either price-gouging or one of the Limited Editions.

Personally, I much prefer my STG556 over any of my three AR-15 platforms and will buy the E4 as soon as it hits the market.
I'll admit I'm getting a bit off topic, but I've regrettably followed the somewhat retarded discourse on TOS and I've not once seen any comments about problems with the AUG whereby customer service/support and spare parts was an issue. In fact, short of the nit-picking over non-issues, I don't recall any issues with function or QA/QC.

I guess maybe you need to apply for a job with the Treasury Department since you have never been wrong on market happenings. I must admit if and when a Ban happens all weapons on that list will increase in value. Some more than others. Lets hope for both of our sakes that never happens. But if it does I will stick to my original statement and we will both see who was right or wrong!
