Ranger T 147gr vs. HST 147 gr?

I have been carrying the Winchester Ranger-T 147 JHP (RA9T) on my own time, in my own guns for a few years now.

Is there any reason, other than availability issues, that I should consider switching to the HST 147 gr round? The information I can find tells me that these two rounds perform about the same. The individual officer pricing isn't that much different between the two.

Am I missing something here?

You don't want to know what my issued ammunition is that I have to carry while at work...

Both work well. I would carry the one most reliable, accurate, and readily available.

I'll stay with what I have spent the time and money to test in my guns, the Winchester Ranger loading.
