    BVAC ammo??

What is your experience with or knowledge of BVAC ammo? Is it re-manufactured from Lake City components? I picked up a box of 500 rounds of BV-5.56 1N and it all has LC headstamps and it's labeled 55gr FMJ. From their website it appears that they are tied in to ATK.

BVAC is a ATK Dist. Any of their ammo with a N in the product code is new with the N standing well for new. BVAC is a big chunk of HSM and is owned by the old HSMGeneral manager. I have very cllose dealing with these folks and thaye make a good product. As a matter of fact in AZ we have went through a few 100k of their stuff without a hitch. Their match grade stuff in .308 holds about .50 MOA and the .223 Match holds at about .70MOA.
If anyone wants any stuff from them its going to be a little wait as I haven them cranking out out just under 100k at this moment

We have used 40K+ of their .223/5.56 in our training classes and this ammo is good to go. Just wish they could produce more of it..faster.

I have used the 308 match ammo and am very happy with it.
Comparing it to Federal GM match, it had a lower ES when chrono'd.
    (12 fps vs. 35fps)

The 223 (recycled brass) runs without any issues in my AR that has been reamed to 556 chamber.

Have another 1k of 223 on order and awaiting delivery at the next show.

    until that day,
