Any ideas on a 1-4x optic and a mount for $500.00 or less???

Looked at Millet and I dont know if I like them, pretty long and havent heard good things about the brightness of the reticle. I want to spend a little tax return money, but not to much, I to am still waiting to go back to work after my lay off.

LT-104, Leupold 1-4x20, <$400.00. I use this for sport/rec, not duty, and it's doing well.

Thanks Skintop, I really wish the Counter Sniper scopes werent to good to be true. I really dug the 1-4x they had, features galore, and I was about to order one until I read the bad news.

There was a good, multi-page thread on 1-4 variables awhile ago. I thought I saw it bumped recently.

    EDIT: Found it, here: https://www.m4carbine.net/showthread.php?t=104

I do like the Millet DMS1, its just to long for me, with others being 10 1/2" or shorter. Though the price of those is high to absolutely outrageous.

Speaking of that, wheres the thread that showed a 1-4x optic with the horseshoe reticle. He had pictures of the reticle inside his home and out side in the street. It was something like 10yds, 50yds, 100yds, 300yds etc... etc... He used his son in the pictures as the target. I think it was linked from TOS.
Anybody know what Im talking about???

There is the info on the two I could find.

They are priced on swfa right now from $279 to $349, but not yet in stock.

At those prices I doubt Leupold is making those scopes in the USA. They may test them here, but I'm sure at the core is that Chinese "Green Ring" line.
