Eh, I'd rather be able to carry a departmental gun rather than my own. If its ever used in any sort of shooting, policy says that our state law enforcement division takes the gun for a period of time to check it out. I would rather they take a departmental gun and not my own.

Its only a gun. If you use it in a shooting and it saves your life the investment payed off. I would rather use my own weapon that has the best parts and gear on it I can afford vs the department DPMS POS guns.
