    You could always buy one of these and send it to Adco to have it lightened under the handguards if you want a govt. type profile.

    I'm not sure if that would be very cost effective after all the shipping and extra work. Might be the only option though considering the state of things.

    Centurion Arms has a full service machine shop, they might be able to do the re-profiling for you if you send them an email seeking info on this type of work.

    I know he will also pin gas blocks on the barrel for you, which is a must with this kind of set up...or at least a good idea.

    Unfortunately, as per an e-mail reply of 4/11 regarding pinning of a gas block, Monty does not currently, "have the capacity to take in this type of work".

    Not surprising given current demands.

    Your only other option if you really want this barrel in a lighter profile is to have one of only a very small number of authorized Noveske dealers build you an upper from scratch with an N4 light barrel. Unfortunately that is not an option at the moment due to lack of availability.

    He quoted me 25.00 but does not have vltor gas blocks in stock.
