There isn't an M4 profile, chrome lined, NATO chambered AR-15 on this planet that is capable of 0.6 MOA accuracy. That level of accuracy is the realm of stainless steel, match grade AR-15s.

Maybe it's just me - I am fairly new to this after all... but it seems to me the M4 is designed for minute of man accuracy out to 200-300 yards - not saying it can't shoot better than that, I'm just saying that's it's purpose. The longer barrelled, rifle gas system rifles (like a 20") are what's designed for accuracy... Am I right in this?

Oh, I see what you mean now.
Between BCM and LMT, both should have very good accuracy. Whether one is more accurate than the other is most probably subjective but BCM does have one up on LMT in that it's parked under the FSB.

I'd bet there are a couple(actually quite a few) M4 profile, chrome lined NATO chambered guns capable of near 0.6 or better MOA out there

Found their website. Interesting that they seem to have barrels and other stuff in stock. I wonder who has experience with this company and their products.

Then you won't have any difficulty proving it. I'll be waiting.

Regarding LMT's M4 profiled chrome lined barrels, IIRC the reason they are very accurate is that they are made from Mike Rock barrel blanks.

When talking about chrome lined M4 barrels, IMHO, I consider anything that shoots about 2 MOA very accurate for fighting/combat useage. I think 3-4 MOA is about average for these types of barrels. You really can't expect too much from a chrome lined barrel with a 5.56 chamber especially when shooting miltary ball ammo.

To me a chrome lined barrel that can make head shots at 100 yards and keep all the shots in the torso at 300 yards is plenty accurate for it's purpose.

CMV, CL, HPT MPI, 1/7, M4, etc... so long as they're not lying, should be righteous barrels... and for $250 its worth some T&E

    sure wish they'd get here
