Heh, because then the rifle wont be "milspec" and all of the tards that focus too much on the wrong meaning of that word wont buy the rifle.

I personally want the same rifle that is released to the US army, ie built to a certain specification.

To me there is no reason why the civi version should be any different as far as materials and construction. The only difference should be the barrel length to comply with law.

What's the deal with the .Mil version? Does anyone here actually think the military is going to order these?
I wouldn't think so, but I've certainly no data to support that.
Why don't they just build the damn thing WITHOUT Fing it all up a hundred ways from Sunday.
Build it, Sell it, and DON'T hack it.

I can wait, and being patient is fine, but DON'T HACK IT UP and build a lesser civvi version Cerberus!!
Any chance MAGPUL still actually has SOME kind of say in how these SHOULD be built????

Bushmaster does, thats why they arent selling it to anyone else if it even exists-

    2009 ACR Availability

The ACR is being redesigned to be a superior offering to compete for the next generation US Army infantry carbine and subcompact weapon requirement and will be available to select customers in 2009.

SO in other words, the 'peoples rifle' isnt available for us

I have pretty much written off this weapon. I think it had its honeymoon already.

Sadly, this reflects my opinions as well.

I guess I'm glad to see "Remington" stage photo shoots with it at least though.

Is it me? Or does the gas block appear to have a bayonet lug on it now?

I hope so... more eviler... makes Hillary more madder.

Now if only I could buy one.

I'd actually prefer a remington rollmark to a bushmaster one. I hope there one't be significant differences between the models offered in each line.

Oh, who am I teasing? They'd have to be offered first. :/
