To me the ACR died after Magpul sold the design to Bushmaster.

I hope so... more eviler... makes Hillary more madder.

Now if only I could buy one.

I'd actually prefer a remington rollmark to a bushmaster one. I hope there one't be significant differences between the models offered in each line.

Oh, who am I teasing? They'd have to be offered first. :/
Notice there is no crappy front pop up sight. The case deflector looks better. Looks like the area around the ejection port is protected as well by a plastic shield. Very neat idea not featured on the XCR or SCAR.

I'd like to see more pics for sure

I usually just lurk around here and never post, but that weapon looks beautiful. I think Magpul does have a "hands-on" type of involvement still, and I hope Bushmaster pulls it off!

I agree. I don't know why that stupid pop up front sight was on there in the first place.

I never understood why they had a front one but never a back one.

What do you guys mean by "stupid pop up sight" that was on the ACR before?
It appears as if that pic at the beginning of this thread has Magpuls "pop up" MBUS sight on the front of it.. ????
Did you just use the term "pop up" as a slang term, or were you actually referring to the MBUS, which indeed does "pop up" when you karate chop it????

The earlier versions of the Massada had a flip up front sight that was embedded into the front of the rail.

It looked rather cheesy without a rear one to compliment it.

It also did not allow you to mount a light at 12 o'clock as the front sight would be in the way if deployed.

Nobody dares talk shit about KAC, that's why.

Seriously though, people have complained about it.
