I thought it may have been part of the RIS II requirements, but I may be wrong. I have no idea where I came up with that answer, so take it with a grain of salt.

I do have to admit that being able to keep the weight this low, plus have a steel barrel nut is pretty cool. I confess to having tweaked one of my aluminum barrel nuts a tad, but it was minor enough that I was able to fix it.

Another picture just for us visual people.....

Anyone know if DD has plans to make a 12.0 FSPM version with the new mounting setup?

Stickman you have to stop with those great photos my wallet is talking to me.
For those who believe, no explanation is necessary. For those who don't, none will suffice.

Mine is too. It's saying "NO MAS!"

Unfortunately for my wallet my reply is "shut up bitch!"

I think the DD 12.0 FSP is my second favorite rail, with the first being the DD 9.5.

A quick pic, just for those people who are visual and need a quick jolt of DD 12.0 FSP goodness.....

    Pof

I can't wait until the version to fit the POF is out. I have the older DD 7.0 on my M4 and love it.
