It's disgusting (I think that's what you meant) when people give a crap about what brand-names others choose and why. If the gun runs and runs reliably, then it shouldn't matter the lateral decisions the owner makes in regards to the brands they use, whether it's based on looks, name, or feel. If it runs well, it runs well.

Guys guys guys. Maybe I'm not reading this thread thoroughly enough, but it seems like we're fighting over nothing. Just because one person says it's weird when people choose a component for looks, doesn't mean they think that EVERYONE who doesn't like it has rejected it because of the looks. If you don't like the grip's functionality, they aren't talking about you. No offense needs to be taken.

I like the Stark grip as well, ugliness is not a concern of mine. The grip swell makes a big difference to me, and reminds me of the HK 416 grip. At work I have to carry my carbine for hours at a time at a relaxed low ready position. All the other grips I have tried can result in grip fatigue.

The real test of any grip is shooting it, not carrying it. For me, then angle and relationship to the trigger is just about perfect for my long fingers.

If I had any complaint, it would be the use of a screw to secure the trigger guard, and that the grip could be shortened a bit, more like the HK grip. I don't have a need for the flare at the bottom, but it may be well suited for SPR style rifles.

Ignoring the funking design, this is one very nice grip IMHO...

I recognize that one from their website

Still waiting for them to come out with something else...

Ok, I finally have something bad to say about this grip. The grip plug keeps falling out on me. It's empty and falls out after I shoot for a while. I'd never trust anything of value in it. They need some locking mechanism.

I for one think the grip looks great. It actually looks very comfortable though I have yet to try one. Is there a model out for the Sig 556 yet?

Not yet. They're supposedly working on it. I haven't had much luck contacting them lately. Hopefully business is doing ok.

You may want to give them a call to ask about that since it doesn't sound right at all. Mine is actually a bit of a chore to remove the plug.
