It looks interesting, but the only way to make a true judgement on it would be to actually try it in your hand.

Sorry to bring this thread back from the dead, but it was the only thread I could find on the Stark SE-1 grip here.
I agree with those who think this is a strange/ugly/alien looking grip, but aside from that, it is the most ergonomic/comfortable grip I have ever tried out for the AR platform.
IMO, the Stark grip puts my finger in better relation to the trigger than any other grip that I have run in the past.
Even with the large backstrap on my MIADs, I have to curl my finger more than feels comfortable to get proper finger placement on the trigger. The Stark grip eliminates this for me.
I also feel more "locked-in" when shooting with the Strak grip than any other in the past, as I feel I dont have to re-adjust my grip to keep the web of my firing hand high up into the beavertail and still maintain proper trigger finger placement.
I honestly feel you will be doing yourself a disservice if you overlook the Stark SE-1 grip based on looks alone.

Will my thumb reach the selector?
My brother saw Deliverance and bought a Bow. I saw Deliverance and bought an AR-15.
Yes, unless your thumb has been amputated behind the middle knuckle....
Seriously thou, I have medium-large sized hands, and I dont need to make any adjustment to my grip to be able to manipulate the selctor. I couldnt imagine any shooter with small-XL sized hand not being able to work the selector.
I couldn't tell from anything I read, but is the grip a hard plastic like the A2/MOE/TD or rubber-overmolded like the Ergo Grip?
Does it change the way you reach to hit the mag release? It looks like it would put you further away.

Thanks. For some reason this looks like it would pair well with the Chip McCormick flat trigger.
