my Charles Daly AR15. it would be great for close in, and mid range, then bring a second upper with like a 18"-20" barrel for longer targets. I'd like to get the Noveske N4 low profile upper with the switchblock and AAC 2000 sound suppressor. being able to turn the gas off would be great for those one shot stop's.

right now, 62gr Green tips. i'd perfer 77gr Sierra

    Pmags hands down.

spare BCG kit and cleaning kit.

Select Fire Colt, 14.5 upper, Colt BCG and F/A FCG -- for reliability and durability.
    --Camo painted for stealth
CTR -- personal preference--simple and stays securely in position.
DD Omega -- to keep things light.
Trijicon ACOG -- No Batts, More suited for the situation
ARMS 40L SP -- Personal preference
AAC Blackout + M4-2000 Suppressor -- for stealth.
USGI MAgs, teflon coated with Magpul followers. -- simple and increased reliability
G2 LED Surefire -- light + longer batt life.
MIAD Grip -- for secure grip and additional storage
Ammo: M193 and maybe a couple of mags with Hornady Tap hollow points
GI cleaning kit -- for major cleaning when possible
Boresnake -- for quick cleaning between use or in less secure areas.

If I won the lottery and could find one, my weapon of choice would be an early model B.A.R. It's heavy, long and bulky, but you just couldn't beat the firepower.

i would want to be able to be as invisible as possible. so, i want something i can conceal. something that needs very little maintenance. something that is ultra-reliable. something chambered in a very common round. so, glock 17 it is for me.

of course, if i can have 2 guns, then i would also want a colt 6920...which would stay out of sight when moving through populated areas.
SPOT ON, bro. None of these guys are going to walking around the city carrying their long guns unless they are (on duty) military or law enforcement.

If I was concerned about not trying to draw any attention to myself I would break down my AR and stick it in my backpack.

Ah, not very useful in that configuration.

Well of course I have a secondary! I dunno though in a SHTF situation I would stay away from any heavily populated area.
