    And yeah, why does the receiver look almost like the color of an SVT-40 bolt? (I know not quite, but kind of).

    What year is that one?

    Dunno, everything is pristine, at least it was until I stored it for a couple months accidentally with the sling under the butt which pitted a small spot and ruined the flawless bluing. Other than what I did to it, everything looked like it came off an assembly line when I bought it. Its a 1938 rifle.
