I might pick up a young mfg BCG, with the markups in the secondary market they are almost the same price.

    Dave L,
How about doing a T&E on the FailZero BCG when you get it.
I'd be very interested in seeing what you think of it.

I've been wanting to try out the Fail Zero BCG myself but at 300 bones I can't afford it. Be sure to let us know how it runs though. I have heard good things.

Will do, I get back to the world in 2 weeks. Someone else may have a review by then but I'll throw my 2 cents in.

$300 is a load of cash for a BCG. I bought one because I had the money and needed a BCG.
    Things to remember:

Quality FA BCG- $130 (BCM's are now ~$160)
    Robar NP3 coating- ~$130
$260 with no tax or shipping added.

They also include a coated hammer. I honestly could do without the coated hammer.

All in all, I believe the price is where it should be. Robar usually has a 6-8 week wait for NP3 so this is very convenient.

Grant from G&R recently mentioned that FZ gets their Bolts and Carriers from a quality manufacturer.

My carrier is standard carbon steel but I went with a chrome plated bolt. So far it's lots easier to clean, but I'm not seeing any other benefits past that.
