I just started looking for one of these yesterday.

Looks like Creedmoor Sports will have some in July. Current rate is $170.00 and they are taking backorders.

Today at work, I got the notification from Rainier Arms that they were in stock (I just put my name on the notification list last night, put down both work and personal email addys).

Although it was a tad higher at $190, I figure I'd give it a shot. 30 minutes after ordering, I've got a tracking number!

They still have the SSF in stock and told me it will function exactly the same as the SSA. They just compared it to dropping in a full-auto BCG (analogy). If you really really want one that is the way to go. In my humble opinion...

Why not just get the SSF? It's the same thing really.

Just got a SSA from G&R Tactical (thanks to Grant and this thread!). Installed easily into my Noveske Recon in a few minutes. I'll have to get it out to the range of course, but my initial impressions are very positive. The two stages are distinctive, and the second stage is crisp and light. The trigger also has a smooth and positive reset. It is a definite step up from a stock trigger and a considerable improvement over my LMT two stage. I think it is a perfect fit for my Recon.

Because they charge $70-80 more for the SSF?

I'm still hunting a UBR before I finish out my Sully lower with this trigger and some Colt guts.

Two things... First the SSF is a full auto trigger group, second I ordered a SSA from Carolina Mountain Tactical this morning. It may not show in stock online so give them a call.
