I would definitely go with the DD over the MP15X. I just sold a MP15X to a guy (through my job) today for ~$1299, which is about the going rate I believe. The DD is only ~$300-400 more, but is quite a bit nicer quality gun and setup better IMO.
Thanks Shad, I will. I e-mailed Joe for what it's worth gunz will probibly get results faster. I'll check back after I get settled in Afghanistan. I fly out of Manas tonight. If it is true I may just e-mail my shop back home and have them grab one for me, we'll see I guess. I have NOTHING against the DD looks like good kit but this hammer forged barrel claim got me upset, especially when nothing from the maker says or illudes to this claim. We'll see what DD comes back with I guess.
I bought a DDM4 back in april and got to shoot it once. It was a short range trip but man was it sweet. I like it better than my S&W. The smith functioned great the whole time I had it. Never a jam or hiccup that wasn't because of ammo or mags. The DD is sweet. I was able to use the irons to hit targets out to 300 easy. Get the DDM4.
