Remember when all Colt AR's had those silly oversized pins, how about those screwed together uppers/lowers with no front takedown pin and a pivot pin instead? Yes, Colt has always done everything right.

I saw one on the local dealers wall yesterday it didn't have a price on it,and I was in a hurry so I did not get a chance to handle it but it did look impressive hanging on the wall LOL.
For what ever that was worth.

    hrmmmm

i get to lift the really heavy stuff....

GotM4 gets to bring home the cool toys and test fire them...

somehow I feel like I am missing something in this equation

whatever the verdict on this rifle

    1) GotM4 won't pull any punches...he will tell the truth, be it good or bad

    2) You know that it will get worked over as completely as a gun can be....

I, for one, am keeping an open mind and am looking forward to hearing the results

    2. they wont sell parts to dealers so u have to send the guns to them and they can screw us again.

    3. dont sell hi caps to civilians as we are SCUM to them.

some other things will come back to me but its late. I WILL NEVER OWN A RUGER AGAIN.

never patronize the people who gave u a mags ban in 1994. and yes i was in Washington to testify right behind him and nearly fell out of the chair when CHUCKIE SCHUMERSTEIN praised him as a true American.always remember - never forget (pat rogers)
Dude, the 90's called. They wan't their rhetoric back.

I want to see what is under the rail and find out if they really did rip-off ADC.
My brother saw Deliverance and bought a Bow. I saw Deliverance and bought an AR-15.

There is some retarded over on TOS flipping out because it isn't easy enough to replace the "worn out" op rod on his SR-556 that he hasn't even got yet.

He has plenty of supporters that don't even own one but theirs have worn out too.

Interesting observation on the SCAR 16S with thin barrel, heating and accuracy.

From an article on TacticalGunFan.com testing of the SCAR 16S (a short stroke piston with a thin barrel and accuracy maintained when heated) http://www.tacticalgunfan.com/index....d=555&Itemid=1

I next set some targets at 500 yards and fired another four five-shot groups. This was done prone off a rest using only Black Hills 77-grain Mk262 Mod 1 load. Even with a 12 mph full-value crosswind I was immediately rewarded with a tight five-shot group that measured just 3.7 inches. The SCAR 16S went on to average an impressive 4.2 inches at this distance.

A lightweight semi-auto carbine which will shoot sub-MOA groups at 500 yards? My first reaction was to speak to the folks at FNH-USA and ask them quite bluntly if this was a standard production rifle. They assured me it was, but said, "No, you can't buy it." All I can say is that this particular rifle shot superbly for what it is. Better still, I saw no change in POI as the skinny barrel heated.
