One nice thing about the Larue is it has integrated QD swivel cups. Both rails are solid choices, I would go with what was easier to get in this case.

    Affirmative.

I ended up going with the Larue 13.2 and Larue LT-202 .750 gas block. The larue was about $30 cheaper, and it had the sling QD built in. plus, unless I misunderstood the DD would have required me to buy their special wrench also. So, factoring in the cost of the wrench and add on QD plus more money, I just went with the Larue.

That said, I personally hate the gap look as much as i hate delta rings. LOL But, overall the Larues still look pretty good to me even with the gap. I knew it was a win win as both make rock solid products, so I had to find some criteria and used basically the one above to decide.

If I really like it, I'll probably change my 16' middie to a matching larue at some point too, but we will see. it has a troy mrf-m on it now that I like but find it feels bulky in hand.

Thanks and once i get this stick finished I'll be sure to share some pics.

Good choice - You may even get some extra goodies from Larue - Mmmmmm Dillo Dust.....
