I love my R700 SPS Tactical, very accurate just out of the box.

Any thoughts on the SPS Tactical vs. the VTR?

There was a young guy sighting in a VTR in .308 a couple of months back... piqued my interest.

At some point, I'd like to add a solid .308 for target/hunting purposes.

I almost bought a VTR. My thing was, I wasn't so sure about that triangular barrel with the cuts in the front. Even though it was heavier, I went with the SPS Tac.

I have an SPS in .223
its a sub MOA rifle at 100 meters
I haven't taken it out further on paper but can hit a steel plate at 500 meters when dialed in
Ive invested about 1300 in the rifle all said but its defiantely worth it

Here is mine with an old Falcon scope on it
I now have a Bushnell Elite 4200 on it

and here is its little 10/22 brother
