    Noveske 12.5" Crusader accuracy?

I keep hearing about how accurate noveske barrels are and how their SBR barrels are compareable to other longer non-SBR barrels. I'm thinking of using a noveske 12.5" crusader on my next build and was wondering how accurate it actually is.

I was looking for something along the lines of the maximum range one would consider it to be able to hit a man sized target on the first or second shot.

Optic? Trigger? Ammo? Conditions? Position? Shooter?

Any bbl I've bought from NRW (going on 5 now I believe, 2 SBRs and 3 non) has been MOA or less with a 3-15x scope, match ammo, match trigger, sunny day with no wind, proned and bagged out, w/me behind the rifle.

You put that same rifle into someone elses hands, give them an aimpoint, M193 Ammo, raining and windy, MILSEPC Trigger well, I'd imagine the accuracy would change quite a bit.

So reiterate my original answer, yes, his barrels are accurate. But once the other variables are considered, it *depends*.

Barrel length, accuracy and range are not completely relative. I watched our SPR instructor hit targets out to AT LEAST 700 yds. ( I believe some further) with his 12" POF 308 upper. The key ingredients were shooter, ammo, scope and a properly assembled weapon.

Good luck finding a noveske 12.5" crusader barrel. I've been keeping an eye out for one also. Finding an honest politician may be easier.

It's looks like an honest politician is in your future as Noveske has 23 of them in stock for 435.00 a piece.
