Isn’t an anti seize made by Loctite a bit of an Oxymoron?

Second, I notice that someone has asked in what way M-B-labeled anti-seize is better than the stuff you can buy at an auto parts store. So far no response has been posted.[quote]

    He got it for free.

Third, and more to the point, I’m not aware that Daimler AG (f/k/a DaimlerChrysler AG, fka Daimler-Benz AG) makes firearms. Even if the anti-seize compound sold by M-B for automobiles really is the best anti-seize on the planet for automotive use, that doesn’t qualify it for use on firearms.
What firearms manufacturers also market their own grease? The only one I think I've ever seen is from Wilson.

Sounds good, still saving my pennies for the LaRue 9 or a DD. I've got some High Temp "no-seize" from CarQuest that I used on my truck. Maybe I should get a tube of the loctite stuff for the barrel.
    Thanks!
