    Bobro 180 vs. 150 for Aimpoint ML3 on A3 upper ?

I have a Noveske N4 light basic carbine upper with Troy rear BUIS right now that I'm looking to mount an Aimpoint ML3 to.

I have been looking around at various mounts and after doing a bit of searching I figured that I can't seem to find Larue mounts anywhere in stock and the only decent quality in stock anywhere seems to be the Bobro.

The problem is I'm not sure whether to get the 180 or the 150. I understand the 150 is true co-witness meaning it is lower and the 180 is a bit higher for 1/3 lower BUIS sight picture.

Do I need to get the 180 to clear my A2 front sight on this gun ?

Also, which would you all recommend for a CQB rifle ? Engagements within 50 Yards.

Currently I have this craptastic twist mount with a riser. I dont know who makes it but you have to twist the thumbscrew, which protrudes extremely, around 3 or more times to lock solid.

Problem with this mount is that it keeps getting loose after a couple of hundred rounds on either my bushmaster upper or Noveske upper.

They are in stock and thats were I picked up mine. haven't got the ML3 yet but the mount looks and feels TOP QUALITY I read that bobro Is GTG to.
    LT-150 does cowitness lower 1/3.

So far very happy with the larue mount.
The ras II is the low mount not the LT-150.

So it is safe to assume that the fixed A2 front sight on my upper won't get in the way ?

    Thank you for the link.

I assure you it does cowitness lower 1/3 If it didn't I would have not gotten it. I don't have my ML3 yet so I cant give any pics but lining up the sight just through the mount by its self leaves no doubt that it cowitnesses LOWER1/3. By the way GTS ships fast so you would not have to wait long if you decide to put in the order.

I would definitely go with the higher mount for the lower 1/3 co-witness, I personally find it faster, than the busier sight picture of the absolute co-witness.

ADM is also a quality alternative, and is in stock in several places, including G&R Tactical. I have ADM aimpoint and EOTech mounts and although, I have limited experience with them, I am thus far impressed. Easy install, easy adjustment (tool free), lock up tight, etc.

Good luck in your choice. If possible try and look through both a lower 1/3 and absolute co-witness setup and see which you prefer. I definitely vote lower 1/3 though.

The high mount is always my favorite and is fastest for me.

Yea I went with the Larue LT-150 thanks to that link. I think it should be here next week. Now hopefully I can return that P.O.S. twist clicky thing mount.

    Thanks for the advice everyone.
