    Kimber 84/8400 precision rifle. Nice.

And the African rifle sitting between them was very, very nice as well.

I have to echo someone's comment about the Fudd gun makers having nothing really new. Go around their websites and look at their new 2007 products. It must be depressing to work in PD and marketing there.

Did anyone happen to drop by Horus to see the 2 new reticles for the Talon 1-4? I saw they updated there website and no longer offer the H48. They have the H47 and the H50. They look interesting and highlight that the H47 has an extra bright center dot. Also were the updated Short Dots there on display?

Besides their usual collection of FALs, they also had a weird little pistol/subgun type "thing" on display. I'm not sure what it's supposed to do exactly, but I'm sure it will appear in quite a few movies in the near future.

It was originally released by Steyr about 15 years ago as the TMP, and was actually featured in HEAT (drive-in). Oddly, no questions about that one...

I stopped by their booth and had a looky. They are trying to improve upo the Talon and think we will see more changes in the future.

The SD II's were out, but nothing new other than that.

The biggest news (IMHO) is that NF is making their dot brighter in their 1-4!! So there dot should NOW be visible in full sun.
They advised that these should be done in about 1 month.

I would have to say, not that it matter, but the Slip2000 new (I dont want to call it modular, but that kinda what it is) cleaning system is the heat. It has a quick release and it is built into there new cleaning rods, and he also has a adapable for current Otis and Mil Cleaning kits.

That's pretty nifty! That would really compliment the Otis accessory pack that has the picks, scrapers and punch.

I see Grant adding the display of Slip2000 products to his trenchcoat as he walks the street, peddling his crack to us junkies
