I broke down and got a S&W 5.45x39 upper for the cheap ammo. I went to a two day rifle course this weekend and had nothing but problems with the only source for 5.45x39 specific mags. So please fix this problem!

+1 More and more folks are looking at 5.45 uppers due to the cheap ammo available. A good 5.45 mag is really needed.
I'm hosting a Magpul Dynamics class in Sept. so you have some time.....
I'd be happy to demo them and report back free of charge!
I remain convinced that the constant curve body of the PMag or Lancer mag is the right answer...it just needs a proper follower to account for the different taper of the case vs 5.56.
And Bulgarian 5.45 followers make a pretty good template for something that already works...
And with some trimming, they'll fit inside a Lancer, and maybe even a PMag (ok, I haven't tried a PMag yet, it's a lot of trimming)...
Principles matter.
My CProducts seem to be 100% after I upgraded the springs.

Where did you get the AK47 springs from? I have not been able to find them
I called up ProMag and asked them if I could buy some AK-74 springs from them. The told me they would send me some and don't worry about the $$$.
+1 for ProMag customer service!
Anyway, I simply laid out the 74 springs side-by-side with USGI springs and cut them to the same length.
Yeah but you know you'd prefer some Magpul ones......lol. C'mon help a brother out!
I have been working on some followers to retrofit the Cproducts mags...they made my bad mags good mags...I just need to get a response from the owners of the site before I sell any.
