Offering these mounts in a lower 1/3 and absolute Co-witness is a good idea.
Half of the ADM Micro mounts we sell are with the absolute co-witness riser (FYI).

I really like these BUIS. I have a question for the guys who want an absolute co witness mount. Won't the sight picture be cluttered having to look through the rear BUIS to see your red dot.
I want to experiment with using a flip-up rear sight (new KAC micro 300 meter if it matters) and a T1, and using the T1 as a ghost ring @ the front sight if I need to. In effect negating the need for a rear BUIS. Most people learn to run some variation on this at CQB range anyway even with a 1/3.
All I want to know is WHEN is DD finally going to start producing the Mk18 RIS rail in BLACK?
Man those would sell like hotcakes.
Something else that would sell even MORESO, and would literally swamp DD with orders, would be a 10.5" Mk18 RIS rail in BLACK....
Damn that would be SWEET....
They would be instant success on all these 16" guns that are so common. Not to mention perfect for 11.5" and 12.5" SBR builds as well..
While I'm at it, I might as well throw in a huge vote for those new Mk18 10.3" (I think?) CHF bbls I have heard about.
REALLY wish DD would also offer them in other various lengths as well. CHF bbls are what we all would like to see more of, in all lengths!
Ok, I think that's enough DD wish list for now...

"ROLL RIGHT SNIPER!"
Grant, have they told you when you will be getting these?
I am interested in the front sight.
Aimpoint M4S- Because your next Aimpoint battery hasn't been made yet.
I like the absolute cowitness for its use as an emergency BUIS. As far as clutter, only very recently did I ditch my LMT rear sight on my duty rifle. It had been in place for roughly 4 years and I had simply gotten used to it.
The first time I qualified, I didn't flip up my Troy rear BUIS until well into the qual. I checked my target to see if I even wanted to try to finish and was suprised to see that I could still easily qualify - I had only dropped a few rounds. I was just using my absolute cowitness Aimpoint M2 as a ghost ring and it worked at 50 yards. I can't imagine a 1/3 setup working that well.

Micro Mounts should be shipping within the next week or two. Still a little ways out on the front sight, but we are making progress.
I have tested this fairly extensively, using a Troy folding rear and a T-1 in an absolute co-witness ADM mount with a fixed front. I like this combo a lot, however if I am running a bigger tube (M4S) I still prefer the lower 1/3 and fixed rear.
Sorry for taking an off ramp...
