I have a bunch on order... Finally something I can offer besides a Larue (which I have to buy from Aimpoint at close to Retail with Larue not accepting new dealers in ages) and cheaper too.

    Tim,

That is a nice looking set up, thank you for sharing the latest from Daniel Defense.

A quick question; are the iron sights set high enough to see through the glass in the Aimpoint optic? Maybe its the angle of the pics, but it almost looks like the irons are lined up directly below the optic's glass into the housing.

    Thanks,
    David

David, yes, it's just the angle of the pictures.

You get a solid co-witness in the lower 1/3rd of the Micro, providing an uncluttered sight picture.

Is there a regular Aimpoint mount in the works?
Correct. Both the front and rear sights as well as the Micro mount have self locking steel thread inserts to prohibit the screws from coming loose.

    Joe,

Are there any other sights that you are aware of that will also allow a co-witness? Most of my AR's have Troy sights.

The height of the mount will allow a lower 1/3rd cowitness with most back up iron sights. I know for a fact it will with the Troy Sights.

It's nice to see some sanity in pricing come in to play.

When I compare some of these mount prices to what I see in Arca Swiss type mounts for camera gear from companies like Wimberly, and Really Right Stuff it just drives me batty.

Any chance that the mount might make it out in an absolute cowitness version?
