    Joe,

Good deal, thanks. I'll be keeping an eye open.

This is exactly what I want for my new lightweight/KISS LMT, a lightweight quality mount. I don't really need QD like a LaRue and to keep the weight down this'll work. I'll likely run it with a rear MBUS.

Looks pretty basic and straight forward.

    Thumbs up

QD is highly overated. Good job Daniel Defense.

In my line of work, QD is NOT overrated....Some of us need this. Hope this helps.

Actual weight of the mount including 2 SS threaded inserts and 2 screws is: 1.66oz

Actual weight of the mount with the Aimpoint installed is: 4.70oz

In contrast, the ADM AD-B2 with the T1-SOCOM adapter is 4.16oz without the Aimpoint. It does however, offer the QD option if you require.

The mount includes a recoil lug that interfaces with the Aimpoint to reduce sheer loads at the mounting screws.

    Future plans include:

    - Partially threaded, precision screws for better interface with recoil grooves on receiver
    - Lower, absolute co-witness version

No estimate on timing. More pics to follow.
