saw the front sight is now up on the dd's website for $60...wish it was more similar to the prototype front sight with the model number on the back of the sight and the dd logo maybe moved to the side

The text and logo were a little distracting while visible in the sight picture. The choice was made to move the engraving to the side you won't usually see (using safe gun-handling practices). It also allowed us to maintain a single setup in the laser and therefore keep costs lower.
