    Remington Modular Sniper Rifle

Anyone heard of this rifle? I did a search and didn't see anything posted yet.

Sounds like they are made to order. Group buy?

I looked at it and an idea came to me. How about a bolt action upper for an AR? Seriously, a 5.56mm, 6.5mm, or 6.8mm, magazine fed, user configurable, tack driver! Pick your barrel, ammo, and optics and hit the range. The possible configurations based on existing AR parts is almost endless. It'd be the perfect AR for Kalifornia where there is no restriction on magazine capacity for bolt guns.

Is that out yet because I was watching the Military Channel this afternoon, and their program "Top Sniper" had a rifle that looked just like those.

    That looks well thought out.

Folder goes to same side as bolt handle so you can sling over your shoulder and carry without having either folder or bolt knob dig into your back

    The receiver looks beefy

    Bolt knob is nice design

Man I like the looks of it.

Seems like bbl change may be easy thing also.

I dont know price point but bet this hits a home run.

Even looks like its set up for slings, which is a good thing

Nice to seea purpose built sniper rifle by a US Company. Now do I use a 700 action or save for one of these?

Is the progeny and natural progression of the the old tube guns and the Tubb 2000? Are we going to see a lot of AICS and A5 stocks on The Hide's Accessories For Sale Forum?
I just did two lines of powdered wig powder, cranked up some Lee Greenwood, and recited the BoR. - Outlander Systems

Well, maybe for the 338 or the 300. I doubt they mean it for the 308.

I was hoping for more than 1 MOA from such a bolt gun.
