    Cool, I like that sort of filming. You ought to look up the info on the atomic tests and the ultra high speed cameras used there. Here's one pic from one of the films.

    I want to know about the projectile in the last video as well. I assume that it was a "one-off" lathe turned specifically desinged for the pupose of the video. I have seen boat-tails before, but that thing???? I'm befuddled??? Infact, I am no expert, but would'nt an ogive profile such as that on the base of the projectile cause gas cutting or an insufficient seal whilst traveling down the bore? Certainly, if it was a good idea, we'de all be shooting "conical" tail bullets by now.
