Also very interested in how the burris high ring worked out for you. I had a burris extra high xtr ring and a clonepoint that gave me a lower 1/3 cowitness, so should be same for actual aimpoint.
Also, anyone have the weights for the high and xtra high rings?
Thanks
Update: Just weighed the Burris XTR extra high ring, its 3.4 oz.

anybody know if anyone has a mount like this for the compM4? wether absolute or not? something without throwlevers.
I always liked the KAC Cantilever mount, but they're pricey.
Hitman1012 has one for sale in the EE here.

NOT in training for combat deployment.
i've become a huge fan of modifying the QRPs i always find on ebay for $25-$55
i have a few of these plates from chopping carry handles.. cut to fit, drill new hole, hack the old knob off, put whatever knob/nut you want on. i think i pulled this knob off an aimpoint low-mount ring. this one probably cost me a grand total of $30 and 30 minutes of my life.

retails for like 30 bucks
for the Aimpoint mount, the little lever/nut is pretty clever
