    Yeah. I have one bushmaster barrel. I'm curious what the port size might be. But I'm not going to pop the FSB to check.

    Like I said, I remember someone saying that bushmaster ran small ports. I know Robb has a cut down M4 barrel. Maybe he checked the port when it was apart.

    Remember its not just about the size of the port.

    Its the size of the port in relation to the mass of the bcg/buffer and the length/strength of the spring.

    A bushie may be properly gassed with a larger hole and a heavier buffer. Its all relative.

    Again, the 3 gun guys are going with small holes and light weight bcgs. Less reciprocating mass is good in general. But then again, those guys tune their guns to run like race horses with a specific load.

    I sold that barrel but IIRC it was .076", it had been a factory 14.5" Bushy barrel.
