Aimpoint yardage zero

Im new to the forum but been watching for a while. I was wondering what yardage you guys sight in your aimpoints. I have a DPMS M4 with an aimpoint M2 on it, along with surefire 678 weapons light, i was wondering what range to sight it in to get the best overall, Thanks ahead for all your help

50 yards for both irons and Aimpoint.

100 yd POA/POI for dot and irons.

For 50yds, is your POI same as your POA?

Yes it is.

The 50 yards is the IBZ, it tends to be the preferred zero for non BDC sights. It tend to fit into the average engagement zone better than the 25M/36 Yard BZO used by the big Army and Marine Corps.
