I've not put mine together yet but my understanding is that the inch (L1A1 selector) and inch (L1A1) "extended" magazine release will work on the metric guns -- perhaps with a little "fitting". That is what I have for my metric gun kit but I have not finished it up yet.

I'm not sure about the selector, I'd stick with Metric for a F/C part.

Inch mag releases WILL work. I have one on mine.

You are correct about the selector. I put up a picture of the L1A1 to show the style that DSA is now offering for metric lowers.

That's a metric selector though. Inch selectors won't work in Metric guns.

That's what I just said....I posted the pic of the L1A1 to show the style of the extended selector that they are selling that I linked to for metric lowers.

I know that's what you said, it's not what he said. You said he was "correct" and I thought it bore clarification for those that might not fully understand the difference between inch/metric.

    No offense meant.

No worries, my dyslexia was kicking in....I thought he said it wouldn't work.

Anyway.....DSA makes an extended selector for metric lowers that looks a lot like the L1A1 selector.

    Templar,

Quick question can you get co-witness, lower 1/3 or otherwise with a low T-1? on the DSA or ARMS mount?

    Thanks

I have not gotten a chance to try a T-1 on a FAL yet. I know that you can't get a co-witness with a low mounted Comp M2 or M3, but if you use the T-1 as supplied from Aimpoint with that super low mount, you might get a lower 1/3rd, but again, I haven't gotten a chance to try one out.

I might be able to by the end of the week though.....

    Question Worth buying ?

How do you know if an Imbel receiver, with no date stamp on the mag well, is pre ban or not?

It was originally built as an STG-58. Does include locking shoulder. Price $525.
Unknown whether it is Metric or Inch.

    Thoughts? Thanks.
