    flashlight mount for Fenix PD30

Can you guys suggest any other mounts for the Fenix PD30? I have this light which is REALLY bright, but the body is approx. .75"-.80" diameter, and most mounts are too big. Here are what I have found so far:

    LaRue mount $89
    Elzetta mount $59

Surefire M78 $42- can anyone confirm if this is for a .80" body, or .75"? Thanks

If anyone has positive/negative reviews on any of these, its greatly appreciated. Suggestions are also welcomed.

    Tom

I have seen someone selling just a bushing kit that fits the smaller diameter flashlights to bring the OD up to 1" so they will fit all the mounts out there. If you got those then you could use any mount you wanted.

I have a TK11 mounted in a VLTOR offset mount, but the TK11 has the 1" body.

I tried google when I posted and could not find the exact ones I was thinking of.

Daniel Defense sells one that is .835" but I don't know if that would tighten up enough.

A local machine shop could make some out of Delrin or aluminum for you though.

As Loner said, try the Viking Tactics mount. Just bought a couple and like 'em so far.

The 4Sevens web site says the PD30 diameter is 21.5mm (.85 inch), within the range of what the Viking mount will handle.

Elzetta mounts come with adapters to fit smaller lights.

This is the way to go. The mount comes with a smaller insert/coupling and the standard larger diameter.

Thank you for the help, I just got it from Brownells today and the smaller ring fits the PD30 perfectly!

    Thanks
