    Did you put the original rail from the DDM4 on the RRA as well?

    nope the rra already had a dd lite rail.

    The dealer swapped the original rail and fsb for the lite rail and lo pro block

    Aaah. I have a RRA that I have "fixed" and was thinking of putting the carbine length barrel and rail on the RRA and making the DDM4 a middie. The RRA has a chrome lined factory barrel, but is the only part I have not fixed (even though it is a great paper puncher).

    Maybe I just need another case of ammo.

    that's basically what I did I had already done the 10" lite rail though instead of carbine length. I swapped the buffer tube to milspec, bcg, receiver end plate, and now the barrel and gas block.

    So it looks like the weight is the same as the M4 profile barrel that comes on the DDM4.
