So if we treat our weapons as tools and our safes as tool boxes. What should be in our tool boxes?
For my self I see having:
subcompact pistol
fighting pistol
carbine
Precision rifle

Being a bird hunter, I'll need to add shotguns to that list.
Between two groups of people who want to make inconsistent kinds of worlds, I see no remedy but force. - Oliver Wendell Holmes.
Tiny pocket pistol that I can carry anywhere, anytime (LCP .380)
Compact handgun for every day carry (HK USPC .45)
Full sized handgun for range practice (Glock 17)
rifle-caliber carbine for close to midrange fighting (FN FS2000)
12ga shotgun for hunting, clays, defense (Mossberg 590)
My "tool box" always has room for more, but as of now, I feel like I have all my bases covered in terms of what I may need a firearm for.
I'd ultimately like to add a long range, precision rifle to the lineup, as well as a pistol caliber carbine, but those are the two that I need the least, and will remain on the backburner til funds allow.
