    Aimpoint QRP

I apologize in advance, as I know this has been discussed at length.

I know that the QRP mount is not ideal (I was planning on a Larue) but I have a line on a NIB M2 with a QRP and Kill-flash for $400, local. Is the QRP as unserviceable as some state, or is it just not the best? I basically want to know if it will serve me well for a year or so, before I can upgrade (if I even need to).

A fairly quick answer is much appreciated, especially from one of our service people (I assume you would have the most experience with them).

    Thanks

I have one on my rifle, very solid, very used (previous owner). need's a spacer tho, but other than that it's good to go.

Thank you both. I forgot to mention that it comes with the spacer included. I'm gonna jump on it then.

One more question: Is it an absolute co-witness without the spacer, and lower 1/3 with?

no it's more of an upper 1/3 if anything.

excuse the clutter and poor image quality, cell phone camera pic's at nigh in a poorly lit room don't come out too well.

    With BUIS

    Without BUIS

I appreciate it. I really just want to know if it will work with a fixed BUIS (Larue) with the spacer, or if I need to buy a flip up BUIS.

    Thanks again.

ETA: thanks for the pics. That looks to be without the spacer?

correct, it does not have the spacer. but i'll pick one up ASAP as it's only $11 or so.

This was really a big help. I'll try to post some pics for you, if you want to see what it looks like with the spacer.
