Suppressed SBR for home/property defense??

SEveryone who has hunted has experienced this effect, BTW. Shoot one round through a high-powered hunting rifle while you're sighting in your rifle before hunting season without hearing protection. Your ears will be ringing for several hours. (I'm not actually advocating that, BTW). Now think about when you're out hunting. When you see that big bull elk (or whatever it is you've been looking for) and touch off a shot or two you probably won't even hear the shot. Your ear detects it, of course, but it damps it down to help prevent damage.

Yes. Repeated exposure to loud noise will eventually damage your hearing. Thats why you can talk to a mortar guy without him saying "huh?" at least 5 times during the conversation.
